英語教室初級・Beginner English
初心者向けの英会話教室です。年に2~3回行って、「ゼロから始める！大人のための中学英語」というテキストを使って教えています。

学習内容：自己紹介、家族の説明、単語練習、英語しりとりなど
This is an English class for beginners. There are 2-3 cycles of lessons and the textbook「Start from Zero! Junior High School English for Adults」is used in class.

ニュース英会話・News English
中級から上級向けの英会話教室です。年2～3回行って、英語のニュース記事を読んで意見交換をします。
講師：国際交流員
対象：中級~
学習内容：環境問題、政治、科学、生活など
This is aimed at Intermediate to advanced learners。
2~3 cycles of lessons occur per year. The students will read a newspaper article and discuss and debate about the article.

キッズ英会話:Ei-GO!・Kids Eikaiwa: Ei-GO!
小学生向けのロールプレー式の英会話事業です。参加者はいろんなロールプレーブースを回り、英会話ミッションに挑戦します。年に1回行います。
講師：国際交流員・市内ALT
対象：小学生 1～6
学習内容：数字、動物、色、自己紹介など
This is an event where elementary school students go around various English speaking booths. Each booth will represent a situation. Students will complete a mission from each booth and receive a stamp.

英語カフェ・English Cafe
英語力を試したい人、キープしたい人、英語にもっと自信をつけたい人、だれでも参加できるイベントです！自由な雰囲気で飲みながら友達と話すように、たくさん英語で会話ができます。
講師：市国際交流員・市ALT・市内在住英語圏出身者
対象：初級～上級
学習内容：自由な話題
This event is for participants who are interested in leveling up their speaking skills or who want to practice speaking.

国際理解・International Understanding
毎年、四国中央市の外国人コミュニティを紹介する「しこちゅ～国際交流フェスタ」を開催しています。国ブース、パフォーマンス、ポットラックパーティーなどいろいろ楽しめます！国籍に関係なくみんなが交流し、様々な文化やアクティビティを一緒に体験できます。
対象：だれでも参加できます
時期：2月中旬
活動内容：パフォーマンス、国ブース、ポットラックパーティー
Every year we host an international festival to celebrate the foreigner communities in Shikokuchuo. There are different country booths, performances, and a potluck party. Foreigners and Japanese people have a chance to meet and experience new cultures and activities together.

世界の料理教室・Cooking Classes
世界の料理を作ることができる、楽しい料理教室です。

対象：高校生以上

ロシア、ホンジュラスなど

イースターまつり・Easter Matsuri
イースターとはイエス・キリストの復活を祝う日です。海外ではゲームやチョコレートエッグを食べながら楽しく祝う日です。
対象：幼稚園～
時期：4月中旬
活動内容：エッグペインティング、イースターゲーム、
ぬりえ、エッグ探しなど

青少年の国際感覚を育成・Developing Global Awareness for Youth
CIRによる国際理解のための訪問事業
(CIR Visit for International Understanding)
国際交流員（CIR)が市の小学校や幼稚園を周り、自分の国に関するプレゼンテーションや文化体験などを行います。いろんな体験、ゲーム、クイズを通して楽しく海外の文化を学ぶことができます。
対象：小学校、幼稚園、おやこ図書館など。
時期：1年中
Target Audience： Elementary school, kindergarten, library
Date： All year round Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs) visit elementary schools and kindergartens in the city to give presentations and cultural experiences about their own countries. You can enjoy learning about foreign cultures through various experiences, games, and quizzes.
市国際交流員と市ALTと一緒にいろんな楽しいゲームを通じて英語を話そう！
対象：中学校3年生
時期：8月中旬・下旬

四国中央市国際交流協会では、毎年ニュージーランドへ中学3年生を派遣しています。交流校を訪問し、授業体験や野外活動等の学校交流を行います。交流校関係者宅にホームステイして、ニュージーランドの生活や文化を体験します。
対象：中学校3年生
時期：11～12月頃
SIFA sends 3rd year Junior High School students to New Zealand every year. Students visit exchange schools and conduct school exchanges such as class experiences and outdoor activities. There, they are able to experience the life and culture of New Zealand by staying with a host family.
Target Audience： 3rd grade junior high school students
Date： Late November to Early December
ホームステイ受入事業 ・Homestay Events
ニュージーランドのオークランドから2年に1度、四国中央市にホームステイ団が来ます。市内に滞在中は一般家庭にホームステイをして、日本の生活を体験します。さらに市内の学校と交流をしたり、観光名所を見学し文化を体験しています。
対象：四国中央市民
時期：10月頃（2年に1度）
Once every two years, a homestay group from Auckland, New Zealand comes to Shikokuchuo City. During the stay, they will stay with a host family and experience the Japanese daily life. In addition, they interact with schools in the city, visit tourist attractions and experience culture differences.
Target Audience： Shikokuchuo Citizens
Date： Around October (once every two years)
