What are the Shikokuchuo Autumn Festivals?
Rooted in its celebration for a bountiful fall harvest and gratitude to the gods, the Shikokuchuo Autumn Festivals have grown into major events, highlighted by large taiko drum floats that parade through the town. Each area of Shikokuchuo holds its own version of the Autumn Festival, where processions and gatherings are held not at just one central location, but all over town. The marathon of festivals welcome people of all ages and are free to enjoy!
