Shikokuchuo City is the only district where four prefectures meet on Shikoku island. Shikokuchuo City is well-known for its paper manufacturing and processing industry. In the south of the city lies the steep mountain region of the Hoou and Shikoku mountains. Due to this abundant nature, we are able to obtain pure water. The weather of the city is mild with moderate rain throughout the year. In the winter snowfall is rarely seen.
