SIFA 20周年～あゆみ SIFAについて 中学生海外派遣事業 市内イベント ホームステイ受入 CIR Messages 1993年2月23日 IIFA設立 伊予三島市国際交流協会(IIFA)が設立された。 1993年2月23日 CIR採用開始 IIFAは初の国際交流員（CIR）の採用を開始します。その後、ニュージーランド、アメリカ、マレーシア、イギリス、ドイツなどの国々からCIRが就任している。 1994年11月 受入開始 IIFAは旧伊予三島市に海外からの団体を受け入れました。中国の貴州からの農業研修生3名が訪問しました。四国中央市を訪れた様々なホームステイグループについて詳しくはこちら をクリックしてください。 1995年12月 中学生海外派遣事業開始 IIFAはニュージーランドのクライストチャーチにあるヒルモートン高校に行き、第1回中学生海外派遣事業を開始し、中学生16名が参加しました。これまでニュージーランド、アメリカ、オーストラリア、イギリスでホームステイ活動が28回（IIFA10回、SIFA18回）行われました。 1996年5月 日本語教室開始 日常生活を支援するために、旧伊予三島市に外国人向けの日本語教室が開始されました。 2001年4月 ラグビー国際親善試合 スカイフィールドの完成を記念して、IIFAはホームステイ受入を行い、2つのラグビー試合（神戸大学対カンタベリー大学、三島高校対ヒルモートン高校）の開催を支援しました。 2005年5月 SIFAに名称変更 2004年の四国中央市合併に伴い、IIFAは名称を四国中央国際交流協会（SIFA）に変更しました。 2006年11月 ジャワ島中部地震被災地募金活動 ジャワ島中部地震の被災地支援のため募金活動が実施されました。これまでにニュージーランド、日本、ネパール、中国などでの自然災害に対し、同様の募金活動を行ってきました。 2009年10月 イングリッシュキャンプ 新宮で、市内中学3年生を対象とした第1回イングリッシュキャンプが開催されました。このイングリッシュキャンプは主に夏休みに15回実施され、CIRやALTと共に楽しいアクティビティを通じて英語力を活用しています。 しこちゅ～国際交流フェスタ開始 2015年2月1日 様々な国際交流イベントが行われたが、2015年にSIFAは初のしこちゅ～国際交流フェスタを開催された。四国中央市における多文化共生を推進するため、各国のブースやパフォーマンス、ポットラックパーティーを通じて多様な習慣や文化を紹介する。

Teacher： CIR Target： Intermediate~ Lesson topics： Environmental issues, politics, life, arts, humor 1/3 キッズ英会話: Ei-GO!・Kids Eikaiwa: Ei-GO! 小学生向けのロールプレー式の英会話事業です。参加者はいろんなロールプレーブースを回り、英会話ミッションに挑戦します。年に1回行います。 講師： 国際交流員・市内ALT 対象： 小学生 1～6 学習内容： 数字、動物、色、自己紹介など This is an event where elementary school students go around various English speaking booths. Each booth will represent a situation. Students will complete a mission from each booth and receive a stamp. Target Audience： 3rd year junior high school students Date： Late November to Early December オレワ受入・川之江高校 IMG_8325 DSC_1870 オレワ受入・川之江高校 1/10 ホームステイ受入事業 ・Homestay Events ニュージーランドのオークランドから2年に1度、四国中央市にホームステイ団が来ます。市内に滞在中は一般家庭にホームステイをして、日本の生活を体験します。さらに市内の学校と交流をしたり、観光名所を見学し文化を体験しています。 対象： 四国中央市民 時期： 10月頃（2年に1度） Once every two years, a homestay group from Auckland, New Zealand comes to Shikokuchuo City. During the stay, they will stay with a host family and experience the Japanese daily life. In addition, they interact with schools in the city, visit tourist attractions and experience culture differences. Target Audience： Shikokuchuo Citizens Date： Around October (once every two years)

SHIKOKUCHUO CITY 四国中央市 SHIKOKUCHUO CITY Central Shikoku Shikokuchuo City is located in the eastern end of Ehime Prefecture. Shikokuchuo City is the only district where four prefectures meet on Shikoku island. Shikokuchuo City is well-known for its paper manufacturing and processing industry. In the south of the city lies the steep mountain region of the Hoou and Shikoku mountains. Due to this abundant nature, we are able to obtain pure water. The weather of the city is mild with moderate rain throughout the year. In the winter snowfall is rarely seen. The SIFA Japanese Teacher Volunteer Association is a group of SIFA which aims to provide Japanese language support to foreigners residing in the city. Anyone can participate, even if they don't speak a foreign language. Association Name: SIFA Volunteer Japanese Teaching Association Fee: 2000 yen (Annual SIFA membership fee) + Textbook cost (to be purchased on your own) Teachers Available: 17 Total Students Enrolled: 71 Applicants: Any non-Japanese person may join, regardless of Japanese language ability. Location: Shikokuchuo City Citizens' Exchange Hall, Multi-Purpose Rooms 1, 2, or 3 Lesson Format: 1-on-1 or group lessons available.
