The SIFA Japanese Teacher Volunteer Association is a group of SIFA which aims to provide Japanese language support to foreigners residing in the city. Anyone can participate, even if they don't speak a foreign language. Association Name: SIFA Volunteer Japanese Teaching Association Fee: 2000 yen (Annual SIFA membership fee) + Textbook cost (to be purchased on your own) Teachers Available: 17 Total Students Enrolled: 71 Applicants: Any non-Japanese person may join, regardless of Japanese language ability. Location: Shikokuchuo City Citizens' Exchange Hall, Multi-Purpose Rooms 1, 2, or 3 Lesson Format: 1-on-1 or group lessons available. Class frequency and scheduling dependant on teacher and student availability To sign up, come to the Regional Promotion Division on the 3rd floor of Shikokuchuo City Hall.

SHIKOKUCHUO CITY 四国中央市 SHIKOKUCHUO CITY Central Shikoku Shikokuchuo City is located in the eastern end of Ehime Prefecture. Shikokuchuo City is the only district where four prefectures meet on Shikoku island. Shikokuchuo City is well-known for its paper manufacturing and processing industry. In the south of the city lies the steep mountain region of the Hoou and Shikoku mountains. Due to this abundant nature, we are able to obtain pure water. The weather of the city is mild with moderate rain throughout the year. In the winter snowfall is rarely seen.
